The next session of the MAP seminar “Noms de dieux! 5” will take place on Monday, May 10, in videoconference (Zoom).
This double session will take place in two parts:
– 10h30-12h30 : Enrico Marcato (Università Ca’ Foscari venezia), Demon names, onomastic sequences and ritual experts in the Mandaic Incantations from Late-Antique Mesopotamia.
– 14h-16h: Jenny Wallenstein (Swedish institute at Athens), Theonym, epithet, designation. A reexamination of the significance of Parthenos.
